Zero Waste on the Mountain Operation | The Big Spring Collection

Come along on Saturday, 1 June 2024 in La Plagne to take part in our 1-day ZERO WASTE ON THE MOUNTAIN OPERATION!

Our goal is to take care of our mountains and gain a better understanding of how we can reduce waste at the source.

On the programme:
- The big springtime collection, starting at 8.30am
- Characterisation of the collected waste (sorting, weighing) | From 11am
-Activities and free lunch

THE BIG SPRINGTIME WASTE COLLECTION
*Times to be confirmed
- 8.30 coffee
- 9am departure (to the site of your choice: Plagne Centre - Montchavin-les Coches - Montalbert - Champagny-en-Vanoise - Aime – La Côte d’Aime-Valezan)
- From 11am, end of the collection and return to Aime or Champagny-en-Vanoise
- From 11am, characterisation of the waste with the Mountain Riders association in Aime or Champagny-en-Vanoise
- From 12 noon, free lunch for volunteers (registration required)

EQUIPMENT RECOMMENDED
To reduce waste, please bring your own gloves (gardening gloves) and carrier bags.
We will supply them for anyone who does not have any.
We recommend that you wear trainers, walking boots, a fleece, a cap and sunglasses and bring sunscreen & a water bottle!
