La Plagne is committing to an ambitious goal: zero uncontrolled waste on the mountain by 2030! HOW CAN YOU HELP? To make your contribution, come along on June 1st.
Our goal is to take care of our mountains and gain a better understandinng of how to reduce waste at the source.
On the programme:
- Springtime waste collection, starting at 8.30am
- Characterising the collected waste (weighing and sorting) | From 11am
-Activities and free lunch
THE BIG SPRINGTIME WASTE COLLECTION
*Times to be confirmed
- 8.30am coffee
-9am departure (site of your choice: Plagne Centre - Montchavin-les Coches - Montalbert - Champagny-en-Vanoise - Aime – La Côte d’Aime-Valezan)
- From 11am, end of collection and return to Aime or Champagny-en-Vanoise
- From 11am, characterisation of the waste with the Mountain Riders association in Aime or Champagny-en-Vanoise
- From 12 noon, a convivial meal offered to volunteers (registration required)

RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT
With a view to reducing waste, please bring your own gloves (gardening gloves) and carrier bags.
We will have spares for anyone who does not have them.
We recommend that you wear trainers or walking boots, a fleece, a cap and sunglasses and bring sunscreen and a water bottle!
