How to spend a perfect day in la plagne with your children
You’ve brought the family on a winter holiday and you really want to enjoy your time with them. We have thought of you and put together a programme for a perfect day with your little ones:
10am – Your children won’t want to be up at the crack of dawn, so take your time. A good breakfast and off you go for a morning ski! Skiing is a great activity to share and there are some strong arguments that will convince even the most recalcitrant: head off to one of the fun slopes or the snow park where you can show off for your kids!
1pm – You have several possibilities for lunch:
- Give in to an irresistible craving for a burger and chips. Here are two restaurants where fast food is on a classier level, made with quality products: Le Bonnet in Plagne Bellecôte and Floe in Plagne Centre
- If nothing other than a fondue will do... Several restaurants propose really delicious fondues, like Le Forperet in La Plagne Montalbert,
- Have a more exotic pause and enjoy an authentic Breton savoury crêpe at Le Flocon in Plagne Bellecôte or La Spatule in Plagne Villages.
3pm – Put your skis away but keep your beanie on: La Plagne has a whole range of family-friendly activities. Our selection will hit the spot: a magical sled dog outing, a thrilling toboggan descent, or a snowshoe walk in the forest for a perfect zen moment.
6pm – What a day! It’s time for a pause to relax and recharge your batteries. What could be better than a session at the spa? You can take your children to the Bains & Spa Deep Nature in Belle Plagne where you can all relax in the Family area. The sun setting behind the mountains viewed from the outdoor swimming pool is quite unforgettable.
8pm – A bowl of soup and it’s time for bed! The resort has partnered with Alpine deli brand Crétin des Alpes, to create a soup made from a special ‘La Plagne’ recipe: spinach, wild garlic, Beaufort cheese and cream… nothing but good things. Who knows, maybe our local soup will be your “madeleine de Proust”. You can find it in on sale in our tourist offices.
So, will you take up the “perfect day” challenge?
