Find out moreHiking with a donkey porter. Set off in the company of a donkey that will carry your belongings. You can follow the paths that criss-cross the Vanoise National Park, going from refuge to refuge, to discover the mountains in a different way.
We offer you the chance to hire one or more donkeys to go hiking, roaming from hut to hut throughout the Champagny and Pralognan area. You can walk at the pace of one of our donkeys along the trails that criss-cross the Parc de la Vanoise.
The donkey is a gentle, slightly greedy animal that loves to walk and follow the trails. They will encourage the little ones to walk and give a rhythm to your hike.
Before you leave, we'll give you all the advice you need to look after your new companion properly. At the refuge, there's a special place for him, so all you have to do is remove his harness for the night, brush him and give him something to drink. The next day, it's off again for a new stage. Along with his harness, we provide 2 large saddlebags to hold your belongings. We do not load donkeys weighing more than 35 kg.
