Samuel, a journalist, and Ava, his daughter and intern, cover the murder of a young girl attacked with acid for their magazine.
Struck by the brutality of the murder, as well as his daughter's interest in the case, Samuel decides to conduct an independent investigation, unbeknownst to his editors, and discovers disturbing similarities with the murder of another woman...
