Rafiki tells the young lioness Kiara - Simba and Nala's daughter - the legend of Mufasa. He is helped in this by Timon and Pumbaa, whose shock formulas are now well known. Told in flashbacks, the story of Mufasa is that of an orphaned lion cub, alone and distraught, who one day meets the sympathetic Taka, heir to a royal lineage. This chance encounter marks the start of a journey full of adventures for a small group of ‘undesirables’ who have formed around them and are now in search of their destiny.
