About Cédric SELMI
Cédric is a passionate artist who transforms his photos of nature into oil paintings that combine sensory emotion and perfect geometry.
After developing a detailed design from photos taken during his field trips, Cédric paints in oils in blocks of colour. The kaleidoscopic repetition of geometric patterns and motifs gives an abstract glaze to his paintings and leaves room for interpretation. His work auestions our connection to nature and our receptiveness to contemplation.
