Come and visit the Archaeological Museum of Stones and Men! In July and August, the musem is open to visitors.
Standing on Saint Sigismond's hill, the Pierre Borrione Archaeological Museum of Stones and Men, in Aime's former main church, is a Musée de France. It bears the name of its founder and patron who was a doctor in Aime and a former mayor. He was passionate about preserving the many relics from the past of his town and the valley on site. In the town centre, the parish church dedicated to the Nativity of the Virgin was built between 1675 and 1678. It has all the hallmarks of Baroque art, the principles of which were a consequence of the Counter-Reformation and the Council of Trent.
