Les P'tits flambeaux
On Thursday 20 February 2025, as night falls, La Plagne and all the French Ski Schools (ESF) are joining forces to bring you an exceptional national solidarity event: Les P'tits Flambeaux!
For one evening, the French mountain resorts are invited to organise a torchlight descent with their ESF ski instructors. To mark the occasion, 20,000 torches will be on sale to raise as much money as possible for 3 charities: Petits Princes, Génération Montagne and Enfance et Montagne.
The aim? To raise as much money as possible for charity programmes that enable children who are not fortunate enough to be able to go on holiday to discover our magnificent mountains and their benefits.
Torch-lit descents are a magical event par excellence and a must for any winter holiday in the mountains, and are a delight for young and old alike! To take part in the festivities while doing a good deed, La Plagne holidaymakers are invited to buy torches at :
- Montalbert: ESF
- Montchavin: the tourist office and ESF
- Champagny-en-Vanoise: the tourist office and ESF
- Plagne altitude: the tourist office of Plagne centre, Plagne Aime 2000 and Belle Plagne and the ESF.
All proceeds from the evening will be donated to 3 associations: Enfance et Montagne, Génération Montagne and Petits Princes through the "Famille Plus, la montagne solidaire" operation.
