Find out moreThe wall surrounding the cemetery shelters a curious sundial. Not far from the western gate, facing south, the column was carved in 1678.
The sundial, carved two years after the gate, seems to be the opportunistic reusing of a block of rock that was initially cut for the portico! Simple but reliable, the sundial is 339 years old!
