Glaciers, key feature in our mountains, have shaped the valley of Champagny-le-Haut. This classified land, at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park, is home to the Espace Glacialis, an interpretation center about mountain glaciers.
Come and discover all the secrets of these giants, from their scientific aspect to their historical and mythological dimension, through a fun and interactive exhibition: films, models, photo galleries, objects to touch, etc.
The tools used are multiple: audiovisual, photographs, maps, models, objects to touch, etc. The Espace Glacialis aims to be a place of educational discovery, playful and modern. Two films are presented.
Also available to young visitors (6 to 12 years old): booklet of 12 challenges to discover the secrets of the ice giants.
