Zero Waste on the Mountain Operation | The Big Spring Collection

Come along on Saturday, 1 June 2024 in La Plagne to take part in our 1-day ZERO WASTE ON THE MOUNTAIN OPERATION!

Our goal is to take care of our mountains and gain a better understanding of how we can reduce waste at the source.

On the programme:
- The big springtime collection, starting at 8.30am
- Characterisation of the collected waste (sorting, weighing) | From 11am
-Activities and free lunch

THE BIG SPRINGTIME WASTE COLLECTION
- 8.30am : Welcome coffee in one of our villages
- 9am : Departure for waste collection
- From 11am : End of collection & return to your starting point
- Between 11am and 4pm : Giant Carac': waste sorting and weighing
- From 12.30pm : Meal offered to participants at your departure point

-3pm to 6pm: Zero waste party ‘Ecologie Partie’ organised by the La Plagne Tarentaise Youth Council - Macot Stadium

EQUIPMENT RECOMMENDED
To reduce waste, please bring your own gloves (gardening gloves) and carrier bags.
We will supply them for anyone who does not have any.
We recommend that you wear trainers, walking boots, a fleece, a cap and sunglasses and bring sunscreen & a water bottle!
