On Sunday 13 August, come along with your family to discover the traditional nature of the mountain, during the Fête de l’Alpage on Dou du Praz plateau in La Plagne.
➔ The fête starts at 9am
➔ Outdoor mass from 10.30-12am with Father Olivier Môme
➔ Démonstrations of:
○ Milking the cows
○ Making Beaufort and Sérac cheese
○ Making butter
➔ Exhibition of farm animals
➔ Exhibition by local artisans and sale of regional products
➔ Games and rides:
○ Pony rides for children
○ Games: axe throwing, making wooden huts
○ Rides in a Willys jeep or a carriage from 9 - 11.30am and 1.30 - 5pm
➔ Catering
○ Menu: Braised ham with Polente – Beaufort cheese– Blueberry tartlets
○ Served from 12 noon
○ Tickets on sale on site
➔ Refreshment bar
○ Open 8am - 9pm

○ Traditional music: accordions and bandoneon
○ Savoyard songs: “La route des tommes”
