Fête de l'Alpage (Alpine Festival)

Indicative summer 2025 programme :
➔ The fête starts at 8am
➔ Outdoor mass from 10.30-12am with Father Olivier Môme
➔ Démonstrations of:
○ Ascent of the herd of cows to the site - from Belle-Plagne to Dou du Praz. Meeting point at 08:30 in Belle-Plagne to accompany the herd.
○ Milking the cows
○ Making Beaufort and Sérac cheese
○ Making butter
➔ Exhibition of farm animals
➔ Exhibition by local artisans and sale of regional products
➔ Games and rides:
○ Pony rides for children
○ Games: axe throwing, making wooden huts
- Celebration of the 80th anniversary of the parachute drop on 11 March 1944
○ Rides in a Willys jeep or a carriage from 9 - 11.30am and 1.30 - 5pm

➔ Catering
○ Menu: Braised ham with Polente – Beaufort cheese– Blueberry tartlets
○ Served from 11.30am
○ Tickets on sale on site

➔ Refreshment bar
○ Open 8am - 9pm
○ Tickets on sale on site

➔ Musical entertainment:
○ Traditional music: accordions and bandoneon
○ Savoyard songs: “La route des tommes”
○ Alpine horns "Savoie chante en cors"
○ Musical group: Cocktail De Zik
