The SUPER8 is THE MTB/e-MTB all-mountain event in La Plagne!
For its 3rd edition, the event will be held over 3 days and offer new race formats, in addition to the emblematic Grand8 and Double8.
The SUPER8 consists of 2 main races: the Grand8 and the Double8
• The Grand8 is the star race reserved for e-MTB experts. In the form of a tour of La Plagne, the race covers 100 km over 2 days, starting and finishing in Champagny-en-Vanoise with an overnight bivouac in the valley. 14 & 15 July.
• The Double8 is the perfect race for amateur riders. 4 circuits that all start and finish in Plagne Bellecôte. The circuits are of varying levels of difficulty and you decide how many you want to ride: 1 = 23km / 2 = 46km / 3 = 71 km / 4 = 82 km. On an MTB or e-MTB, solo or in relay teams of 2. Sunday 16 July.
For this edition, the SUPER8 is diversifying with races that are open to everyone.
• Discovery rides on original themes: Sunset ride on Friday 14 July and the Gourmet ride on Saturday 15 July.
• The Super Kids Races: for children aged 2 to 15, on balance bikes, mountain bikes or enduro bikes, there is something for all your budding champions! Saturday 15 July.
• La Grimpée de la Plagne. A straight climb with 21 hairpin bends from the valley to Plagne Centre. Saturday 15 July.
• The Simple8 is the discovery version of the Double8 in a non-competitive format. Open to the general public on a MTB or e-MTB, the course covers the first two circuits of the real race.
It is the perfect way to discover part of the course before signing up to participate in the full race the following year! Sunday 16 July.
