Ski passes for everyone
La Plagne’s lift system is a great help for going skiing or hiking. There are passes for the duration of your holiday, the composition of your group and the area you want to explore. Beginners will be happy in the Cool Ski zones whilst those with more stamina can consider getting the full Paradiski version.
La Plagne ski pass
With 135 runs, La Plagne includes a glacier and stretches north and south. A four-hour tour gives you a good overview of the area, while a day's skiing lets you explore it from one end to the other. But if you want to get to know the La Plagne area and each of its slopes more intimately, you'll need to stay for at least 6 days... choose the ski pass that suits your desires!

Paradiski pass
With a Paradiski pass, you can ski in La Plagne, Les Arcs and Peisey-Vallandry. The area has a total of 425 km of runs, so ski nuts will have a great time… it’s our XXL pass that will keep you busy on the slopes for days.
Village pass
La Plagne Champagny en Vanoise, La Plagne Montalbert and La Plagne Montchavin-les Coches, our pretty villages situated between 1250 and 1350 m altitude, have their own pass. Which lifts and runs does my ski pass give me access to?
A ski pass is a transport ticket (like a bus or train ticket). Technically, it gives you access to the ski lifts, not to the ski runs they serve (which are open access). This means that a touring skier can use a groomed ski run on his return without needing a ski pass.
There are three main types of ski pass for alpine skiers and snowboarders:
- The La Plagne ski passThe La Plagne ski pass, with which you can take 73 lifts, leading to 133 ski runs (a total of 225 km of downhill skiing).
- Paradiski ski passwith which you can use the lifts at La Plagne, but also those at Les Arcs and Peisey-Vallandry (129 lifts and 258 runs for all levels, for a total of 425 km of downhill skiing!)
- The Cool Skiski pass gives you access to beginners' areas only (no risk of ending up on a black run by mistake).
In addition to these three main ski areas (and therefore three main types of ski pass) we also offer village ski passes (for those staying in Champagny-en-Vanoise, Plagne Montalbert or Montchavin-les-Coches who prefer to ski close to these villages), ski passes for cross-country skiers, and ski passes for pedestrians.
Good to know: 16 lifts for beginners are accessible free of charge, without a ski pass (mostly carpet and surface lifts, plus a gondola).
Is it better to buy a La Plagne or Paradiski ski pass?

Or do you plan to ski every day, but still manage to get down your favorite slopes without straying too far from your starting point? The La Plagne ski pass is for you! It gives you access to 225 km of ski runs for all levels (including 77 blue runs). Plenty to keep you busy for a few hours or a few days...
Are you used to skiing? Do you intend to ski every day without repeating the same run twice? Do you like to explore the mountains and discover new slopes and viewpoints? What's the best ski pass for accessing the large linked ski area?
The most classic ski pass to access the linked ski area (La Plagne - Les Arcs - Peisey-Vallandry) is the Paradiski 6-day pass (also available for other durations, from 1 day to 8 days). But it's not the only one! Here are two alternatives you might like:
- The Paradiski extension The Paradiski extension: this extension, which is added to your La Plagne ski pass, allows you to ski on the slopes of the large linked ski area for one day. Here 's a good idea: take the extension in the second half of your stay (but not on the last day). This way, you have time to get your bearings in the La Plagne ski area at the start of your stay before venturing further afield. And you can stay on the local slopes at the end of your stay, when you're starting to tire.
- The Ski à la Carte package This package is ideal for regular skiers who like to ski in La Plagne as well as in Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry, Tignes, Val d'Isère and so on. By joining the Ski à la Carte program, you only pay when you ski, and benefit from great discounts on lift passes for 8 prestigious ski areas. Handy if you live in the valley and decide on your skiing days on a whim, without being able to choose between all these exceptional ski areas...
Can I lend my ski pass to my partner? To a friend?
No, you can't! All ski passes (day, week, season, adult, child...) are nominative. So you can't lend your ski pass to your partner or a friend while you're sunbathing on the terrace or trying out another winter activity, such as snowshoeing or bobsleighing.
You already know that you won't be skiing every day? Ask our online sales advisors to point you in the direction of the ski pass best suited to your skiing desires and constraints (week pass, day pass, 4-hour pass...).
